Alison has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in painting at The National Institute of the Arts, Australian National University. She has also completed a Diploma of Screen and 3D Animation for Games and Film at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, Canberra.
Alison’s public artwork has included murals for Dee Why and Chatswood Public Schools, artwork at various Stockland playgrounds and work for former Warringah Council. She has been a finalist in the Alice Art Prize, Mosman Art Prize, BSG Art Prize, 40 x 40 Art Prize and Waverly Art Prize amongst many others. Her art has also been exhibited in galleries across New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
While raising her two children, she started using 3D animation software to create artwork, which she has exhibited at the King Street Gallery on William. This has been purchased by the Artbank collection and Willoughby Council. Her next project will be to write and illustrate her own children’s book.
Alison had a wonderful time meeting all the young talented artists during the Tiny Doors project, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
